Child Psychology Certificate Online: 120 Hours
The Certificate in Child Psychology is a 120-hour online course for teachers and parents who want to understand how children develop, learn and behave. It has 5 modules, each with MCQs to complete before moving on, takes up to 6 months and costs US$170, £140 or ₹11,800 including GST. It pairs well with special needs training because so much of supporting a child starts with understanding them.

Who this course is for

Why child psychology matters for teachers
Behaviour is communication. When teachers understand how children develop, what they need emotionally and how they learn, they respond to difficult moments with curiosity rather than punishment, and children learn more. That is why child psychology is part of LCT's SEN Master Level.
How you are assessed
Each of the 5 modules has multiple-choice questions you complete to progress, and correct answers are shown after you attempt them.

If you have not worked with children with special needs before, we strongly recommend supervised time in an inclusive school, special school, resource room or therapy centre while you study.
